Graphic design content

For six months I worked at TJX Companies for Marshalls and TJ Maxx as a graphic designer. These positions focussed on creating content for omni channel experiences that drive to ecommerce.

Throughout my time at the TJX Companies I learned magnitude of attention to while working within the constraints of a tightly defined design system. Additionally, working with cross-functional teams gave me the opportunity to properly articulate design decisions and advocate for my work to employees in other departments of expertise.

Marshalls PROJECTS

At Marshalls I worked on a team with six other designers to design email campaigns for the launch of Marshalls first ever ecommerce store. During my time with the Marshalls team I was involved with graphic design as well as the planning and directing photoshoots with the AD.

To the right is one of my favorite campaigns I designed for Marshalls. Because this was Marshalls first ever online presence I was allowed a lot of creative freedom with the campaign concepts. These were part of the first emails promoting free shipping during the launch of Marshalls ecommerce website.

PROJECTS

At TJ Maxx I worked on a team with nine other designers to create graphic content for social and email advertisements that drove to both in store and online. My position focussed on aligning with inventory and investments of the company to create graphic content across all media platforms.

To the right is some of my favorite projects from my time there, as they allowed for our team to explore creative design strategies for the brand. TJ Maxx has strict brand guidelines as they are well established as an ecommerce store, which limited the creative freedom we had at times. These two ads were part of the pitch to higher ups in attempt to incorporate more experimental design approaches to the brand.
